A beautiful vintage walnut six-drawer dresser from United Furniture Corporation's Discovery collection, designed by Joe Giordano.
The Discovery collection dates to the mid-1960s and is known for its sculpted recessed wooden drawer pulls, beautifully framed cases and distinctive tapered legs. The collection was recognized as one of the 1968 Walnut Classics award-winning furniture groups.
This dresser has a particularly beautiful walnut top with gorgeous natural grain. Javi refinished the top and front casing and carefully cleaned the remaining original finish, preserving the warmth and character of the vintage piece rather than making it feel overly new.
The six spacious drawers provide plenty of storage, while the sculptural pulls and substantial walnut frame give it a beautiful presence.
The top right drawer is currently a little tight. It remains functional and may receive additional adjustment before sale.
As with any vintage piece, minor signs of age and prior use remain. Please review all photos carefully for condition details.
